Amazing food outstanding service from Courtney. from someone who has been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years Absolutely 5 stars wish I could give more stars great job!! Round of applause to BOH AND FOH.

I came here with my family for my father's birthday. The food is expensive, but of a quality that more than justifies the prices. We had lump crab meat, octopus, and burrata appetizers. The crab came served cold on a plate with a small pile of meat and a handful of claws. The claws tasted better in their cold state. It was mild in general. The octopus was fantastic, it had just been grilled and was excellent, as was its accompanying green sauce. The burrata was similarly delicious, with prosciutto under it and (admittedly less than desired) bruschetta to place it on. I ordered the fish special, a filet of red snapper in a puttanesca sauce over saffron rice. The rice was wonderful, the fish also very good. My sister greatly enjoyed her salmon and the accompanying shredded sweet potato ensemble above it. My grandmother seemed to be enjoying her generous serving of shrimp pasta. My other sister praised the poke bowl served in a waffle cone. My father also got the snapper and loved it. My mother had the scallops, one of which I tried. There were four of them and they were enormous. The bacon and sauce they came with was excellent, as was the risotto. The food at Chef Mike's ABG is quite good. We all had dessert as well. My grandmother and mother had the coconut sorbet, which they liked. My father and sister had the warm chocolate lava cake, which they devoured. I tried some of it and was not particularly impressed, but thought it was good. I ordered the waffle sundae and was surprised to find two small belgian waffles sandwiching vanilla ice cream, not one as I had expected. The waffles were good, the ice cream was good, the whipped cream was good. It was serviceable. It did not blow my mind away. The almond gelato my mother ordered was cold, almost a little icy but very grainy in texture, perhaps a bit too thin, but had an intense almond flavor that one would expect from a true gelato. Spent our 10th wedding anniversary dinner there tonight and it was absolutely incredible. The rack of lamp entrée and the roasted garlic appetizer both came highly recommended. So we ordered both and my wife got the filet mignon and from apps to the dinner to the cocktails and dessert it was all amazing. The restaurant comes highly recommended and did not disappoint. I'm so over all these high end restaurants who claim to be the real deal, Chef Mike's is no BS and is truly the real deal.

Best restaurant in Seaside Park! This place has beautiful views plus the food is delicious! We had the lobster pot pie and the baked scallop and crab au gratin for appetizers. The scallops and crab au gratin was FANTASTIC! I’ll order it every time I see it on the menu that’s how good it was! The lobster pot pie had lots of large chunks of fresh lobster meat, but overall it was just ok. For dinners we had the 18 ounce strip steak and 14 ounce lobster tail. The strip steak was EXCELLENT! It tasted better than the steakhouses I’ve been to in NJ! It was seasoned to perfection making it so tasty! The fingerling potatoes it came with were also seasoned perfectly making it delicious! We also ordered a side of lump crab meat blue cheese sauce to go with the steak. It was so DELICIOUS! The lobster tail dinner was very good, but my favorite out the 2 was the bone in strip steak! For desserts we had the banana walnut bread pudding and chocolate fudge cake. The banana walnut bread pudding was very good, and so was the caramel gelato it came with! Unfortunately, the chocolate fudge cake tasted stale! It was all dried out! The only thing good about it were the fudge layers. I highly recommend dining at Chef Mike’s ABG in Seaside Park!

We had dinner here for the first time last night. Marrissa was our server and she was fantastic! I had the short ribs, my husband had the double cut pork chop. We shared the shrimp appetizer with whiskey cream which was delicious. I really hope Chef Mike finds another location.

We had a great dinner at Chef Mike's ABG, the seafood was fresh and well prepared. Garlic Shrimp app had amazing flavor and was perfectly seasoned. The slow braised short ribs on a potato mash was exceptional, meat fell of the bone and great flavor.

Great Restaurant tucked away with amazing food. Can’t believe that it took us so long to check this place out. We’ve heard many great things about it and we finally decided to give it a shot. Had reservations for 8 of us; great craft cocktails, amazing service and food was on point! Short rib was absolutely delicious and the filet with the lobster tail was amazing. Looking forward to coming back!

First time here and hopefully not the last before they close. Had to go during the week because they are booked up every time I check. The food was excellent and came out very quickly. We had the burrata app special, mahi and lobster special, and chicken milanese.

Took my husband for our first visit to Chef Mike's on his birthday & it was delicious! It's a Sunday in March so it wasn't busy & we got seated right away. The only down side was on the way there the hostess called 2x in a row & we were only 5 mins late. By doing so she ruined the surprise where I was taking my husband, so it was a little disappointing. They should at least wait 10-15 mins, especially bc you give them your credit card to book a reservation & if you don't show they charge a $30 fee. The atmosphere was nice but not what I expected for a fine dining experience. It's on the beach & their menu was stocked with great selections so that helped. However I do think they can use a little upgrade or even some better looking tables or table decor. Very plain. After sitting down we were greeted by our server, Mario. He was pleasant & welcoming & explained all the specials for the night. Our drinks & food came out on time & were presented beautifully. The oysters & shrimp were super fresh! & Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Mario also explained how the summer months will look if we want to visit again. Reservations are a must! We will definitely be back.

Most of us have heard ABG is closing. I’ve spent so many birthdays there every August and #64 was no exception. I was glad they took reservations for less than 5 people! I didn’t want to miss this. Jared our server was exceptional!. ABG servers can set the bar as far as great service goes! It’s mostly in the training (I think) Food never disappoints .. Thank you ABG for 20 years of great times.. oh, and I bought the T shirt.
